JPEG Picture Auto-Rotator is a free tool that can automatically rotate a bunch of JPEG images.
It uses data stored in the EXIF information of digital photos to rotate them to their correct orientation so they look ok in image editing and viewing programs.
The one drawback of this tool is that it is a command-line tool, and therefore might not be suitable for a lot of users. If you are comfortable with command-line though, the tool pretty much does what its name suggests.
Download the zip file and unpack it. You will get an executable file named JPEGRotate.exe . There are two ways to use simply command line utility. The first way is to use it to rotate a single JPEG photo. The syntax is like this:
>JPEGRotate.exe photo_file_name
The second way is to auto-rotate all the JPEG picture files (*.jpg and *.jpeg) under the same folder recursively. The syntax is like this:
>JPEGRotate.exe folder_path
