Mozilla Thunderbird on uusi sähköpostiohjelmisto, joka on irroitettu Mozilla-selaimesta ja alettu kehittämään siitä omaa, itsenäistä sähköpostiohjelmistoa. Thundebird sopii loistavasti käyttäjille, jotka haluavat käyttää valitsemaansa selainta (esim. IE:tä), mutta ovat kiinnostuneita vaihtamaan sähköpostiohjelmansa (kuten Outlook Expressin) johonkin muuhun.
