Multiple files should be extended with "-cd1", "-cd2" etc. to automatically convert them to playlists.
Export / Print: Prevent columns to be invisible because their width is set to 0 characters.
Translations: Updated the Spanish, Czech, Arabic and Dutch translations.

Development Environment: Updated to Visual Studio 2013 and CxImage 7.01. This increased the executable size a bit but also brought a big performance improvement. Specifically noticable in startup time (when loading and sorting large databases).
Search: Show directors of current selected movie initially on Search Directors page.
Search: Combined Search did not work i some cases.
Moviemeter: Fixed cut off plot outlines when it includes a '"'.
Import from Hard Disk: Fixed different formats of IMDb links in NFO files were not supported.

Playlists: Changed back the playlist file format from Unicode to ASCII as several Media Players (VLC, Windows Media player) can't seem to handle Unicode m3u playlists.

Database: covers were not correctly copied when merging databases.

October 11th 2014: version 2.10 released:
TVSeries: Fixed s10e10 and higher format was not correctly handled when assigning files.
Database: Added a file size field for media files.
Statistics: Added total media files size display.
User Interface: The Enter key nows acts like double clicking the selected movie.
Add from Hard Disk: Added an option to ignore the drive letter when checking for existing files when adding new ones (in case the media files are on an external drive from which the drive letter might have changed).
Add from Hard Disk: Fixed all *.VOB files of a DVD structure were added as separate movies when they were in a VIDEO_TS folder.

Database: Fixed incorrect actors and directors when merging 2 databases.
Cover Import: Fixed if a cover was retrieved from a specific source in the Add / Edit Movie page but nothing was found the current thumbnail was still removed.

This is how it works for now:
For movies EMDB uses the first entry of the Production Companies section of the Company Credits page (just follow the 'See more' link of the Company Credits section of the movie main page). E.g. for Avatar this will be 'Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation' (shortened to '20th Century Fox').
For TV Series EMDB selects the (USA) (TV) section of the Distributors section of the same page. For non-USA TV Series the (USA) is substituted with the country of origin. If the title is postfixed with a abreviation the abreviation is used. E.g. for Breaking Bad 'AMC' is selected as Network.
This algoritm seems to work pretty good for both US and international movies and TV Series.

Muutokset v0.90 - v0.91

Database: correct the language properties for Serbian, Norwegian, Finnish, Korean, Cantonese, Thai, hindi, Turkish and Polish. There was an error in the database until version 0.89 causing these movies to be stored incorrectly. In version 0.90 this was fixed but this resulted in incorrect retrieval of these properties. This is now corrected the first time the database is loaded in version 0.91. Movies with one of these languages added in version 0.90 are also "corrected" although they were already okay. You have to change these manually. I'm sorry for this.
IMDB Import: Increased the timeout for importing as this resulted in Error E02 messages for some people with poor connections or high background network load.
File Import: When changing the separator character the previous one was still used the first time you imported a file.
Translations: Updated the Turkish translation.

Added a tab to the option dialog to enable this feature and to customize the prefixes taken into account. You can also update all movies already in the database.
Translations: Updated the Slovakian translation.

Manual Backup: Manual backups (and restores) now include both the database and the thumbnail images.
Database: Fixed (incorrect) reported damaged database when only directors and/or actors but no movies are present.
Database: Changed the automatic backup mechanism: EMDB now automatically keeps a Last Known Good Database to prevent data loss when something happens to your database. You can still (and should) create manual backups though.
Database: Added a check on version numbers. You shouldn't (and can't anymore) use a newer database with an older version of EMDB.
Application: EMDB is now fully portable: all settings are stored in a local configuration file (emdb.cfg) instead of the Windows registry. Your current settings are read from the registry and stored in the configuration file.
