Clean Virus MSN has been developed for one purpose - to find and kill off MSN Messenger (aka Windows Live Messenger) malware on your system. MSN Messenger malware often hijacks the IM program and sends spam and other bogus messages to people on your contact list.

Clean Virus MSN targets a very large list of malicious MSN malware. Some of its targets are:

  • Sdbot.BZY
  • IRCBot.AIU
  • SDbot.BXZ
  • Themida
  • Dropper
  • Trojan.Win32.Restarter.f

  • W32/Smalltroj.CXEI
  • Win32/IRCBot.ADS
  • W32/Smalltroj.CXEI
  • TR/Agent.dwd.4
  • BackDoor.Ircbot
  • W32/Trojan2.TZD
  • Trojan.Win32.Agent.dwd
  • Worm:Win32/Pakabot.gen
  • W32/Downloader.IPQ
  • W32/IRCBot.BPQ.worm
  • Sus/Dropper-A
And there are many more not listed above.

NOTE: While Clean Virus MSN is free to use, it is supported by third party software. That means that during the installation, you may be asked if you would like to install toolbars or make other changes to your system. If you don't want to do this, then make sure to pay attention during install to what you have checked. Remember too, though, that this program is funded this way.
