Free Flac to MP3 Converter is a tool that can convert from Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC) audio files to MP3 for compatibility and storage saving.
FLAC is a lossless audio codec which means that it can be decompressed into a 1:1 exact copy of the original audio source, such as CD audio. That means higher quality then MP3, but also much larger file sizes.
FLAC may also not be supported by your portable media player, so converting to MP3 may be necessary.
Simply open the FLAC files you wish to convert in the app and begin the process. It shouldn't take too long.
NOTE: When testing this software, we noticed that this source uses a proprietary downloader. It will first offer to install multiple third party applications on your computer, all of which you can opt to Decline. Even though the Decline option does not appear to be a clickable option, it does work. When finished offering third party applications, it will download and launch the real installer for the software with no additional software on offer. When finished, your application will show up in the Start Menu or on the Desktop, if you chose the option. We have categorized this software as 'Ad-Supported' as a result.
