360 Document Protector can protect you from the effects of ransomware by automatically backing up your documents whenever they are modified. While the program cannot prevent a ransomware infection, it can assure that you can get your files back by simply restoring them from the backup.
The program monitors all document file types (docx, pdf, xls, ppt etc.) on your computer in real-time and you can customize the file extensions to include other file types as well. It will keep your backup copies for 30 days (or longer) and store them in a local backup folder of your choice.
360 Document Protector also includes a file decryption tool that possibly could decrypt your files if they have already been encrypted by ransomware.
